February 7, 2017
With the new year comes resolutions, here are some examples from RB students.
Sophomore Sylvia Garza’s resolution was to be a better caring person and to help others more to the best of her ability. “I always offer my help if anybody needs and I am starting to be there for my family and friends whenever they need a supportive friend or family member,” said Garza.
Sophomore Ashley Rivera’s resolution was to be a caring person and to be more outgoing academically and sports wise. “I am on the basketball team and plan to keep moving forward with basketball all throughout high school. I also am in one AP class this year and plan on taking two more in my Junior year to challenge myself,” said Rivera.
Sophomore Adrien Segura’s resolution was to get all A’s this semester and pass his AP European History test. “I plan on doing all my homework and studying for my tests and quizzes. I am determined to finish my sophomore year strong,” said Segura.
Sophomore Ava McCarthy’s resolution was to get good grades and make the RB softball team. “I want to really condition for softball and maintain good grades,” said McCarthy.
Freshman Nadia Ayala’s resolution was to keep up with her grades and to start putting herself first. “My grades will be maintained and I will start thinking about myself more often instead of others,” Ayala said.
