Soul Food

Soul Food

I am grateful for the hot, succulent, juicy, tender, glazed ham, pineapple-dipped slices accompanied with baked-to-perfection golden macaroni and cheese, loaded bacon bits, mashed potatoes, dressing and the sweetest sweet potato pie by Patti Labelle. Time to free load, visit those family members you don’t like going to see but because they have the best potato salad you ever tasted you make an exception. It is truly the only time of the year being obese is great. The bigger you are the more food you can consume, which also means the happier you become. Nevertheless my family is great too, but i need food to survive, right? If the only way I can live is by eating, then does that mean food is life?
