Gabrielle Gilhooley

I have been apart of the RBHS Clarion for the past two years. This was more of a class to me, it was team coming together to spread the daily news and to have a voice. I enjoyed sharing my opinion on a variety of topics including fashion and political based articles. Clarion has changed me in a positive way, I grew as a writer and a person. My four years here at Riverside Brookfield High School has been such a exciting, fast, wild experience. When people told me that four years would fly by, I did not believe them, but now I do. It is really scary how time flies, I remember my first day of high school like it was yesterday. I might not be ready to leave, not seeing everyone in halls you have known since kindergarten, not having my best friends right there when you need them and not coming home to my mom everyday will be hard, but I know my future will be bright. Senior year has been bittersweet, but I know this summer will treat me well, and I am pumped for my college career at Eastern Illinois University. My advice to give underclassmen is to live it up in high school, enjoy the little things, be nice to everyone, and join RBHS Clarion!
