Pokemon of the Week #7: Carbink

Pokemon of the Week #7: Carbink

Zackary Schejbal, Staff Reporter/Pokemon Expert

Welcome back fellow pokemon trainers! This is Pokemon of the Week!

As we all know, Pokemon of the Week is dedicated to informing you fellow trainers on pokemon you may find in the wild. This week’s pokemon is Carbink, the jewel pokemon.

This pokemon’s global pokedex number is #703. As a rock and fairy type pokemon, it does not evolve unfortunately but is strong against dragon-type pokemon.

The pokedex entries state that “it has slept underground for hundreds of millions of years. It’s found occasionally during excavations of caves”.

As stated, the pokemon does not evolve. But it has an ability called sturdy, which prevents it from going down in one hit.

In my opinion, it is cute but is not as powerful as Zygarde. It might be able to take on the Elite Four.

In fact, the Alola region’s Elite Four rock trainer has a Carbink! So, it’s not all useless.

That’s all we have time for this week! Stay tuned next week!
