Pokemon of the Week #11: The Regis

Pokemon of the Week #11: The Regis

Zackary Schejbal, Staff Reporter/Pokemon Expert

Welcome back fellow Pokemon trainers to this special edition of Pokemon of the Week!

As you may know, our main goal of Pokemon of the Week is to inform you fellow Pokemon trainers out there on Pokemon you may encounter on your journey! In this special edition, we shall be talking about Regirock, the Rock Peak Pokemon, Regice, the Iceberg Pokemon, Registeel, the Iron Pokemon, and Regigigas, the Colossal Pokemon.

These four Pokemon are all part of the Regi Titans. They do not evolve due to being legendary Pokemon.

These four Pokemon are national pokedex numbers 377, 378, 379, and 486. These four are very powerful together.

Pokedex entry on Regirock states that “Regirock was sealed away by the people long ago. If this Pokemon’s body is damaged in battle, it is said to seek out suitable rocks on its own to repair itself.”

Pokedex entries state that “Regice’s body was made during an ice age. The deep-frozen body cannot be melted, even by fire. This Pokemon controls frigid air of minus 328 degrees F.”

Pokedex entry on Registeel states that “Registeel has a body that is harder than any kind of metal. It’s body is apparently hollow. No one has any idea what this Pokemon eats.”

And finally, our pokedex entries on Regigigas state that “There is an enduring legend that states this Pokemon towed continents with ropes.”

These four Pokemon, in my opinion, are by far the most interesting and rather useful against the Elite Four, if properly used. I do have my own Regirock, Regice, Registell, and Regigigas on standby in my PC in case I do need to use them in battle.

That’s all the time we have for this week folks! Thank you for tuning into this special edition of Pokemon of the Week!
