Hello there fellow Pokemon trainers! And welcome those returning trainers to Pokemon of the Week!

As you may know, Pokemon of the Week’s main goal is to inform you fellow trainers on Pokemon you may encounter on your travels throughout the regions. This week’s Pokemon is Magnezone, the Magnet Area Pokemon.

This Pokemon’s national Pokedex number is 462. It is the final evolution of Magnemite.

Pokedex entries on Magnezone state that “It uses radar to monitor it’s territory. Intruders are quickly disposed of with a hyper beam”.

As stated, this Pokemon evolves from Magneton and is the final evolution of Magnemite. It is an electric/steel type Pokemon who usually is equipped with the Sturdy ability, which prevents a Pokemon from fainting from a single hit, leaving 1HP left after the single attack hits.

In my opinion, this is a very good asset to have in your party, especially if from Melemele Island in the Alola region. In that island, you can find Magnemite and train it quite the amount to become Magnezone.

He has potential to take on the Elite Four, if properly used in battle. I beat the Alolan Elite Four and Champion with a Magnezone in my party.

Well, that concludes this edition of Pokemon of the Week!
