Welcome back fellow Pokemon trainers to our final edition of Pokemon of the Week!

As you may know through the time you’ve spent with us, Pokemon of the Week’s main goal is to inform you fellow Pokemon trainers on Pokemon you may encounter on your travels. We’ve saved Pikachu, the Mouse Pokemon, for the very last.

Pikachu’s national pokedex number is the famous #025. As an electric-type mouse Pokemon, this little yellow sucker is the cover Pokemon for Game Freak’s Pokemon branch and everyone’s favorite!

Pokedex entries state that “This intelligent Pokemon roasts hard berries with electricity to make them tender enough to eat.” Pikachu can evolve using a thunder stone to Raichu and evolves from Pichu through happiness.

My opinion on this famous yellow red cheeked mouse is that he is cute and also very, very menacing if used right from the appropriate trainer. Pikachu is also almost everywhere in the Pokemon world.

Depending on the moves and level of your Pikachu, you can rival the Elite Four with them! And it’s also your very best friend if you capture one!
