Next Friday April 22nd, Riverside-Brookfield will have a short schedule; classes will be held from 8:00-11:26. This day was originally a non-attendance day, but is now being used as an emergency make-up day for the snow day earlier this year. Classes will be roughly 26 minutes in length and no lunch will be served. Teachers have been saying they will plan lightly for the shortened periods. Some possible activities include: playing games, extra credit opportunities, or free periods. English teacher Ms. Lopez said, “I plan to do something fun related to the novel we are currently reading in class.” Because this day was originally an off day, students can expect a relatively easy day on the 22nd.
