BREAKING: Hayes announced as 2014-15 assistant principal

At the Board of Education meeting on April 8, it was announced that current English teacher Kimberly Hayes will be the Interim Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction for the 2014-2015 school year.
This announcement comes after Prinicpal Pam Bylsma announced that she will be leaving RB at the end of the school year for a job as Assistant Superintendent in Hinsdale. Later it was announced that the current Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction Kristin Smetana will be Interim Principal for the 2014-2015 school year. This, then, opened the spot for Hayes.
Lauren Grimaldi is very excited to spend her last of high school as an editor on Clarion. When she isn’t writing superb news stories, she can be found watching tv and cheering on the Blackhawks to another Stanley Cup.
In the past, Lauren has participated in Badminton, RBTV, and Seussical the Musical for which she won an Academy Award for her portrayal of a jungle animal/courtroom person. Next year, she hopes to attend college in Chicago and major in Political Science.
