The girls track conference meet will be held on Friday, May 6th. The sectional meet will be held on May 13th, followed by the state meet which will be held on May 20th.
Senior Kelsey Egger broke the school’s three hundred hurdles record on April 29th at Conant high school. Her time was 50.4 seconds beating the record time by .5 seconds. Egger also competes in the high jump, 4 by 1, and 4 by 2.
Senior Kate Walsh competes in the 100, 200, 400, and relays. Walsh is happy with the results of the season so far. “We’ve had a good season so far, but the weather hasn’t been that great. We are all working really hard preparing for our upcoming meets.” She said.
The team has had 5 meets canceled due to the weather.
The team is coached by Bob Bensfield, George Miller and Michelle Koehler.
