Girls’ cross country star Mailin Struck wins State
Team places 19th
November 15, 2013
Saturday, November 9, the girls’ cross country team finished off a phenomenal season by placing 19th at State. The girls were headlined by German exchange student Mailin Struck who made history by becoming the first RB girls’ cross country runner to win State individually, running three miles in a time of 16:35.
Seniors Clare Bollnow, Sarah Melone, and Amy Wagner also put forth valiant performances which helped the team finish 19th overall.

My goal is to be a better Editor-in-Chief than Ronald Reagan, Michael Jordan and Lisa Leslie combined.
