On Sunday, February 2, the Kansas City Chiefs came out victorious against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV. The final score was 31-20 Chiefs, and the victory was mainly led by a 4th quarter Chiefs comeback. RB students who watched the Super Bowl gave their opinions on the game, the halftime show, and the commercials.

Many of the students agreed that the 4th quarter was the most action-packed part of the game.

“I thought it was a really good game. The 4th quarter was the best quarter in my opinion, but it was a really good game,” said Sophomore Bryan Cerny.

The Chiefs’ amazing comeback, which was not a rare sight throughout their season, was something many students admired about the game.

“I didn’t really watch any of the commercials, but the game was pretty good. The Chiefs definitely made a great comeback,” said Sophomore Kenny Fedorski.

Although many enjoyed the game, a lot of viewers talked about how much they enjoyed the halftime show, which featured Shakira and Jennifer Lopez.

“I think it was a great game, and I think the 49ers definitely should’ve come out with the win. They needed to keep it going in the 2nd half, but man, what a halftime show. I mean that was phenomenal,” said sophomore Brian Twomey.

Despite many people enjoying the game and halftime show, the commercials were not as popular among viewers as years prior.

“The commercials sucked. The new electric hummer was cool though,” said junior Victor Maruska.
