It’s easy to underestimate appetizers and other foods at pizza parlors. We go there for pizza, but let me tell you what Domino’s has for sale. The franchise has different wings, salads, and desserts, but let’s focus on their pasta. Domino’s has a variety of pasta, including their 5-Cheese Mac & Cheese, Spicy Buffalo 5-Cheese Mac & Cheese, Chicken Alfredo, and last but not least, their Italian Sausage Marinara. You have the choice to add the alfredo sauce or a red sauce to penne pasta, which is filled into a bread bowl. The bread bowl is thick, seasoned, fluffy, and round, letting the pasta marinate in the sauce. After picking the type of pasta you are interested in, you can add as many pizza toppings as you want, such as bacon, pineapple, olives, etc. Domino’s gives a decent amount of pasta serving one to two people and costing around ten dollars. If you are sharing with me, you will need your own. 

The Chicken Alfredo pasta from Domino’s is very creamy and comforting. The cooked penne is the perfect type of pasta for this dish. The sauce has a mix of Parmesan cheese, water, cream, and different seasonings. It is simple and delicious. The homemade bread is warm and crispy, making it a perfect way to dip into the alfredo. I added bacon to my alfredo bread bowl; the flavor and texture was impeccable. The all-white chicken with the bacon go hand-in-hand with each other, but if you aren’t a chicken lover, you can ask for the chicken not to be cooked with your alfredo pasta. 

The red sauce pasta from Domino’s is just as delicious. I added onion and olives to the pasta; it gave it a nice flavor and amazing texture. The red sauce has a good taste, and the bread paired nicely with it. The sauce is made with garlic and other spices for the distinguishable flavor it gives you. This bread bowl is a perfect dish for a date night, relaxing evening, or if you are just craving some carbs. “This is full of flavor. The onion mixed in is perfect with the red sauce,” my boyfriend said. This is definitely one of our favorites. 

The last pasta I tried was the Spicy Buffalo 5-Cheese Mac & Cheese. There are five different types of cheeses mixed within: cheddar, american, Parmesan Asiago, mozzarella, and alfredo sauce. The alfredo sauce mixed in makes the pasta creamy and full of flavor. The sauce was different from what I am used to. The spicy buffalo gives a hint of spice, and the combination with the cheese is pretty good. My manager thought differently. “It was not good; the alfredo sauce and mac & cheese were not good. It was a weird combination,” Fredi Gamarro said. It was neither of our favorites, but I didn’t dislike it. 

Overall, each of these pastas have their own distinct flavor. Domino’s offers convenient and tasty options with a variety of toppings and combinations. The penne pasta has been constantly well cooked, and I have not been let down with over or undercooked pasta. The Chicken Alfredo Bread Bowl was my favorite, and the Spicy Buffalo 5-Cheese Mac & Cheese was my least favorite but still not bad. I recommend Domino’s as the place to go for perfect pasta!
