On Wednesday September 27, the Boys Golf team participated in the annual MSC Conference tournament at Sanctuary Golf Course in New Lenox. It was an all day tournament, starting at 8:30 AM and ending sometime in the early evening.

Out of 14 teams, the Bulldogs placed 9th. The other teams were from the Metro Suburban Conference, which include Illiana Christian and Immaculate Conception Catholic Prep, among others.

Junior Chris Robertson made Sectionals during the MSC tournament, who was one of the top golfers in the tournament. He had some comments on how he and the team played.

“As a team we didn’t do so good but I did good,” said Robertson. “I placed and got a medal.”

For his stats, Robertson shot 80 strokes in those 18 holes.

Sophomore Constantine Stanovich, who played up with Varsity for the tournament, also had some comments after their performance.

“We didn’t come in last place so that was a plus. Everyone played to the best of their ability, so I think we had a good time,” said Stanovich.
