Among the terrible effects of the pandemic, one silver lining is that it has given so many opportunities to put so many things into perspective and reprioritize how important some things are. The biggest thing I am thankful for this year is the fact that I am back in school again. Even though I barely ever get here on time, school is so important to me. Not only actually being able to learn in a classroom setting, but being able to socialize with my peers, classmates, and of course my favorite staff members has been so nice. Last year I wanted nothing more than to be back in school with everyone, especially because it is my final year here at RB. The little things are what make being back so special. Having small interactions with my favorite staff members in the hall, going to talk to teachers I was not sure I would be able to see in person again. Also being able to be back and able to be on cheer again. So many of my favorite memories from high school so far have been from cheer. I have missed so much about the season like football games, homecoming, and now, we are also about to start our competition and basketball season, and I could not be more excited.
