This year’s boys’ tennis season has been just as good as last year, with new and tougher competition.
Boys’ tennis finished out this year with a 4th place finish in Conference with top finishers junior Jack Kemper and senior Max Recht, who finished 3rd in conference for doubles in the week of May 8th.
Their overall record for the season was 4-6, with losses to Elmwood Park, Timothy Christian, and Glenbard South, and a win over Illiana Christian in the week of May 1st.
The team played their sectionals meet on May 20th, and did not advance any further.
“Sectionals really didn’t go well,” said junior Aron Perfect. Perfect also added, “But the season as a whole was really fun. I’m looking forward to next year.”
“Bradley is probably going to be the senior to be missed the most,” said Kemper. “He is a really good player and very well-liked,” he said.
