I’m thankful for being able to have a constant schedule again! Throughout COVID-19’s peak of pandemic when all the schools were shut down and quarantine was at a maximum, every day felt just like the others, and no one really had an amazingly positive experience. It feels good to be back at school; stuff like doing simple work and chatting with friends that seemed so nonchalant before the pandemic now feel sort of magical. It’s these kinds of small interactions that were missing during the peak of quarantine, and they have all come back in spades. The schedule makes the school year feel much faster as well, especially compared to how sluggish the previous year felt online. I’m incredibly thankful that we are able to go back to “normal” after so long, and it’s nice to be able to have an impactful senior year as well.
